Volunteers
Are you looking for a way to help out in the Brighton Beach/Manhattan Beach community? Do you want to keep busy while helping your neighbors who are hungry or in need of support?
The volunteers at Shorefront JCC play an important role in our client services. Volunteers are particularly vital in our Food Pantry program, where their roles including picking up food donations from local businesses, helping to repackage food, and food distribution. Some of our volunteers are clients who want to help others in similar situations to those they are in or have been in.
We also have openings for volunteers to serve as receptionists and to help case workers and the site director with administrative tasks.
If you have a special skill to offer, let us know. Maybe you can help ESL students practice their English. Or perhaps you could teach a class to supplement our citizenship preparation program.
